What’s the movie about? "Black Pond Cocktail" tells the story of a mysterious half-fish, half-boy, recently saddled with consciousness. A wizard instructs him to seek and drink water or he will surely die! Sakana journeys up the mountain which birthed him to seek water.
From an overlook, he spots a blackened pond. He rushes down, parched from a long journey.
He drinks the black water. As he drinks his fill, a terrifying creature emerges and pulls him close!!! Threatening to drown him if he can’t answer the question... Why do we live? |
Catastrophic Premiere of a Cult Classic Film!!In 1978, Kisage X's film “Black Pond Cocktail” premiered to technical disaster.
During the climax of the film, the projector failed and the audience waited for nearly three hours to see the conclusion of the film. Slideshow: Prototypes of Sakana and Wizarro were manufactured to celebrate "Black Pond Cocktail." The gashapon series was canceled after the film's disastrous premiere. Only 250 exist in the world. A rare set of Wizarro and Sakana sold for $182,000 at auction in 2053. |
